Meet our 2026 scholarship recipient
IVAN CASTRO
Out of 48 applicants we selected Ivan Castro, for his outstanding character both on and off the field. As a dedicated student-athlete, he exemplifies hard work, humility, and kindness in everything he does. Ivan carries himself with quiet confidence and integrity, consistently uplifting those around him. He truly wears the "U" with pride, representing values of community at the highest level. When asked about receiving the scholarship, Ivan said:
"Being selected for the Mike Clark Memorial Scholarship means so much to me. There is not much to do in Ukiah besides play sports, so being recognized for being an athlete in the community that is worthy of the support that this scholarship provides is truly an honor. I am also extremely grateful for the opportunity to have the support from this scholarship in this next chapter of my education. I will use this support from the scholarship as motivation to meet my goals."
